The University at Albany's exchange partnership with the University of the West Indies at St. Augustine (UWI) allows our students to have full access to the curriculum offers by the University. All classes are taught in English.

The University of the West Indies offers courses in Accounting, Agriculture, Art, Art History, Biochemistry, Biology, Business, Caribbean Studies, Chemistry, Child Development, Communication, Comparative Literature, Computer Science, Cultural and Area Studies, Dance, Earth Science, Economics, Education, Engineering, Environmental Science, Film Studies, Fine Arts (Art, Music, Theater), Food Science, Geography, Health Science, History, Human Biology, Information Science/Technology, Latin American Studies, Linguistics, Literature, Mathematics, Media Studies, Medicine, Molecular Biology, Multicultural Studies, Music, Nursing, Nutrition, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Policy, Religious Studies, Sociology, Statistics, Theater, Theology and various other areas. Setting Description:

While studying at the University of the West Indies, students are housed in the university dorms with food service available in the nearby student center. Students may arrange their own housing if they choose to live off campus. Restaurants, markets and entertainment are all within close proximity.
