Program Description:

The University at Albany's exchange affiliation with National Taiwan University allows students to study Chinese language and take courses in a variety of Asian Studies related fields that are taught in English. This study abroad option is intended for students who are interested in developing Chinese language skills and in pursuing in-depth study of subjects related to Taiwan.

Students should register for at least 12 credits but no more than 18 credits per semester at National Taiwan University. The University offers some courses that are taught in English. In additional to the courses taught in English, exchange students have the option of taking a General Chinese Language course offered by National Taiwan University at their approporiate levels. Students who are fluent in Chinese can enroll in the regular university courses that are taught in Chinese. Taiwan University offers undergraduate courses in many fields. Setting Description:

Exchange students are housed in National Taiwan University's student dormitories. There are cafeterias on and off campus where students can get meals. Students may also chose to make their own living arrangements.
