Program Overview

Program Description:
Our exchange affiliation with Yonsei University enables students to study in the heart of Seoul, South Korea and is intended for U.S. students interested in experiencing Korean daily life and culture while developing Korean language skills and pursuing coursework in English in diverse subject areas.

During the fall and spring semesters, students may choose from optional courses in beginning, intermediate, and advanced Korean language and a wide variety of lecture courses taught in English. Courses generally focus on these themes: East Asian Studies, International Relations, International Business, and Korean Language. Intensive Korean Language courses are available through the Korean Language Institute. Students who speak, write, and converse fluently in Korean may enroll in regular university courses with Korean students. Students must enroll in at least 12 credits but normally earn 15-19 credits per semester.

Setting Description:
Students typically live in on-campus housing facilities: International House I (newly renovated) and International House II (newly built). They are both located very close their classrooms and the Office of International Affairs.
