Program Description:

Our exchange affiliation with Hallym University enables students to study Korean language and culture for four weeks in the summer and is intended for U.S. students interested in gaining hands-on experience pursuing study of subjects related to Korea through special lectures, group projects, field trips, and more.

Hallym International Summer School offers Korean language courses at a variety of levels depending on your background. In addition, you may choose from diverse course offering related to Korea's history, sports, society, environment, or media. The program also has a series of special lectures and exciting field trips to broaden your experience of Korea, it's people and places.

Setting Description:

Hallym University's Housing consists of eight buildings with a capacity of approximately 2,800 beds. Participants will be accommodated in the Hallym New Dormitory and shared a room with one other person. There are separate male and female areas in the building. Acceptance to the Hallym International Summer Program (HIS) automatically includes accommodation in the dormitory rooms. Please see our website for more information.
