Program Description:

The objective of the Public Health masters program is to educate people with an academic or similar background and relevant work experience to experts with a comprehensive view. They will be qualified to protect health and prevent disease in high level positions in health care by using population-based, lifestyle, environmental, social or policy oriented activities. In this multi-disciplinary program, which is both academic as well as practice oriented, the student will learn to function professionally taking public health as the starting point. Finding solutions for public health problems is the guiding principle in the program. Students acquire research, leadership, management, organisation and communication skills, that are relevant and appropriate for solving public health problems.
