Program Overview

Program Description:
The aim of this program is to train postgraduate students in Periodontics and oral implant therapy on a specialist level. This is done through a program of seminars and tutorials which will include an extensive review of the literature. Furthermore, considerable time is allocated for the treatment of patients referred by general practitioners for specific periodontal disease problems. Thirdly, extensive training in research within the field of periodontology will be part of the program. The results of the conducted research project will be presented in the form of a written report or publication. The program is to be continued by a mandatory period in an accredited private periodontal practice which enables the students to put theory into practice.
