Program Overview
- Program Description:
- Biomolecular sciences are rapidly penetrating in a broad range of scientific and (bio)technological disciplines. In fundamental and applied research, as well as in product development, in-depth knowledge about the behaviour and properties of Biomolecular systems, including molecular genetics, is essential. The masters program in Biomolecular Sciences is positioned at the the Faculty of Science. Students will be trained in the fields of biochemistry and molecular and cell biology, including theoretical and practical courses and a research project of about nine months. At the end of the program they will be able to either enter a PhD program, or find a leading position in industry or elsewhere in society. Such a masters program is attractive for students from a large number of countries where university education in this field is limited.
