Program Description:

The best way to learn a language is to use it, to live it. If you are seeking one of the most innovative, dynamic programs available today, we invite you to learn more about Tufts and see what Boston has to offer! Dedicated instructors use their imagination and experience to maximize each student's learning potential. Class time is complemented by a host of "real-world" activities that help you to "live" the language as you learn it. From engaging classes to exciting field trips and evening discussions on American life and customs, we help you learn the language and culture that is America.

The Summer Institute for International Scholars prepares students for a successful transition to graduate study in North America. Students prepare for university by constructing a graduate level paper and perfect verbal skills in their academic speaking and research writing seminars. English Today is designed for individuals who desire a combination of classes and activities. Students receive 3.5 hours of daily class instruction and spend their afternoons immersed in American culture through planned events. Plus: Discover America Trips and Afternoon Intensive Option
