Program Description:

The programme starts with a Pre-sessional reading and induction module, which will give you a legal foundation and understanding of such terms as inter alia, divisions of law, courts, legal terminology, and will introduce you to case analysis and legal research skills using our specially dedicated Law Library. The programme then covers the seven foundation legal subjects below, as well as modules in Legal method and Legal systems. You will also be asked either to undertake the Elements of evidence module or to submit a project. Constitutional and administrative law will give you an understanding of the legal principles which underpin governmental power, and of the relationship between the government, the individual and the courts, as well as of the processes by which government may be held accountable.
