Program Description:

The program in experimental psychology at Texas Tech University welcomes applications from students interested in a broad foundation in experimental psychology combined with a content emphasis and research training in one of four general areas represented by the research interests of the faculty. The four areas emphasized in the program are cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, human factors (applied cognition and visual perception), and social psychology. Although a few students choose to enroll in the terminal master's degree program, most are accepted directly into the doctoral program in experimental psychology.
