Program Description:

The Texas Tech University Counseling Psychology program (approved by the American Psychological Association since 1963) has no terminal master's degree program -- only applicants interested in obtaining a Ph.D. are reviewed for admission.

Graduates of our program have entered many different professional positions which entail conducting psychotherapy, consultation, research, and teaching in a broad range of settings (e.g., universities, hospitals,private practice, community mental health agencies, college counseling centers).
