Program Description:

The Department of Biological Sciences provides interested students a broad range of facilities for instruction and research in the various subdisciplines of biology. Class size in the advanced courses is usually small and offers individual attention. Each student not only has hands-on experience with the various types of instrumentation used in experimental work but also has direct supervision by a full-time senior faculty member who holds the terminal degree in his or her specialty.
