The faculty of the Department of Pharmacological Sciences, in conjunction with faculty members in other Departments at Stony Brook and scientists from Brookhaven National Laboratories and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories, offer training in the Graduate Program in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology leading to the Ph.D. degree. The goal of this program is to prepare students for academic positions or for leadership positions in industry. Graduate training in this interdisciplinary program is intended to provide students with a broad background in molecular and cellular biology.
