- * Admission Requirements due before April 30th. * Official transcripts, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) * At least 18 semester hours in studio art that includes drawing, painting, ceramics and sculpture (each 3 semester credit hours) * At least 12 semester hours in psychology that includes these 4 courses: Introduction to Psychology, Developmental LifeSpan Psychology and Theories of Personality (each 3 semester credit hours) * Art Portfolio (CD format) Competence with art materials as demonstrated by 15-20 images of current work * Access to ATR’s for future clinical experiences near student * Personal Statement - What is your vision in serving as an art therapist in your community? (250 words typed) * Three recommendations (see website for recommendation forms) * Completed application and $35 fee (waive fee for online application)
