Saint Martin's University Master in teaching program (MIT) is a post-baccalaureate path to teaching hat will prepare you to be a uniquely outstanding P-12 professional. Welcoming students from all walks of life, in all stages of life, the Saint Martin's MIT program is rooted in the Benedictine tradition, a philosophy that places exceptional value on the ideas of listening, community, and the importance of learning over one's lifetime. That means you'll earn the kind of degree that can make you the teacher you were born to be - the kind that was important to you - one who inspired, motivates, and sparks a life-long passion for learning. Helping you earn your degree will be a community of impassioned professors, advisers, and staff - as well as your fellow students. You'd be hard pressed to find an MIT program more rigorous, more supportive, and more dedicated to preparing you for a rewarding career in teaching than Satin Martin's. And nowhere will you be better prepared to bring your skills and passions to the lies of all of your students. The Master in Teaching (MIT) Program is approved by the Washington State Board of Education. Students completing the elementary, secondary or special education programs are eligible for state certification.
