Program Description:

Rehabilitation Counseling will prepare you to help people with disabilities achieve their personal, social, career and independence goals. You will develop the professional understanding, knowledge, attitude and skills necessary to assist individuals and groups with disabilities in achieving their maximum level of independence and functioning. Rehabilitation Counseling is an expanding field with opportunities to work in a variety of settings. A federal Rehabilitation Long-Term Training Grant funds full tuition reimbursement for 16 students per year through 2019. St. Cloud State University graduates have the education needed to sit for Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and those who add 12 additional credits can gain the education needed to sit for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
