- The Master of Liberal Arts program offers an interdisciplinary education in the liberal arts to non-traditional students with varying undergraduate majors. It is designed to help its students achieve four major objectives: • An appreciation of their intellectual and cultural heritage • The intellectual breadth appropriate to liberally educated men and women • An appreciation of diverse cultural traditions • Research and writing skills at a level appropriate to professionals Concentrations are available in Leadership & Ethics, English/literature, History/Social Science, and Fine Arts (with appropriate studio background). While the MLA program is not designed to prepare students for a specific career, the study of the liberal arts prepares students for professional work and more advanced studies in a variety of ways: by developing breadth of thought; critical thinking sills; skills of analysis and synthesis; skills in research and writing; social and ethical awareness; appreciation of diversity and of perspectives other than one’s own. People who can read, communicate, and organize material from disparate fields can make valuable contributions in a variety of careers, and the program’s graduates find that their degrees may be of practical as well as personal value.

- Applicants must have an earned bachelor's degree or higher with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Applicants with slightly lower grade point averages may be considered with an acceptable standardized test score.
- International Requirements:
- Equivalency of a US earned bachelor's degree or higher. Transcripts must be transcribed and certified by a service like WES. Proof of English proficiency by taking an exam like TOEFL and meeting minimun scoring requirements: 213 on the CBT or 79-80 on the IBT. Proof of financial resources.
