The College of Education offers a Masters of Arts for Teaching in Urban Schools as a natural outgrowth of the undergraduate programs consistent with the university's commitments to urban service, excellence in education, and quality performance. the M.A.T. program addresses the needs of teachers in an urban context with the goal of increasing teacher effectiveness in inner-city schools.
