Program Overview
- Program Description:
This Graduate Green Belt Certificate certificate is designed for students with an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and two years work experience in the field. The primary goal of the program is to give practitioners the opportunity to learn the methods of analysis that result in organizations achieving what is called "Six Sigma Quality." The focus is on presenting the analytical tools and methods that will permit the professional to analyze, assess, and improve processes within his or her organization.
The Graduate Green Belt Certificate requires 4-5 courses, depending on student preparation. The courses cover topics in statistics and quality management that directly relate to Six Sigma implementation. Upon admission into the MS in Quality Assurance program, students can transfer the certificate courses into the MSQA program. In addition, students will take a final Green Belt Certification test administered by the QA program coordinator after all required Certificate course work has been completed.
