Program Description:

The Occupational Health and Safety professional has a critical role in any organisation where a balance must be maintained between the health, safety and well being of employees and the efficiency and profitability of the organisation. Professionals in this role need a range of skills and abilities to interface between employee and management; these include knowledge of the human factors which influence health and safety, a thorough understanding of obligations under health and safety law, the ability to recognise assess and control risks and specialist knowledge in aspects of health and safety which particularly relate to the business in which they are employed.
