Program Description:

The graduate program, leading to the degree of Master of Life and Environmental Science, offers advanced courses in Plant Pathology and Plant Infection, Environmental Soil Science and Environmental Microbiology, Insect Management and Animal Ecology, Aquatic Botany and seminars in current topics. To complete a research thesis for the degree, the student is offered many facilities and new equipment, including an electron microscope (TEM and SEM), a micro-thermo analyzer, a C-N corder, spectrophotometer, HPLC, GC, experimental field sites, greenhouses, insectarium and other specialized equipment.
