Program Description:
The ARP International Educational Leadership Program (IELP) operates within the Department of Administration, Rehabilitation and PostSecondary Education, College of Education, San Diego State University. In the late 1970's, the Department of Educational Administration (subsequently changed to the Department of Educational Leadership) began a summer program for international students leading to a Master or Arts degree in Education with a concentration in Administration and Supervision. Students completed their course work for the degree in 3 to 4 summer session. This program continues today and is highlighted by a distance education program which allows completion of the MA degree in a 2 full year time span in over 22 different locations. More than 1500 international students have graduated from the program.
