Program Description:

The online Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration at SHSU prepares students for mid-level administrative and leadership positions at higher education institutions. The program is designed to enhance career-related leadership and focuses on student services, academic affairs and student success, enrollment management, governance and organization, resource allocation, and other administrative functions. This degree program aslo prepares students for candidacy in a doctoral program in higher education or educational leadership.

Students seeking the MA in Higher Education Administration may also opt to pursue the Graduate Certificate in Academic Advising or the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Assessment and Institutional Research as a part of their degree plan.
