Program Description:

The Acute Care NP (ACNP) program prepares experienced nurses for advanced practice roles providing direct patient care in adult critical care and acute care settings.

The Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) functions as a primary care provider to adult populations in the community, focusing on wellness, illness management and disease prevention.

The Nurse Anesthetist or CRNA possesses advanced skills in the provision of anesthesia, development of an anesthetic plan of care and evaluation of post-operative patient needs.

In the Family NP (FNP) program emphasis is placed on assessment, maintenance, prevention and/or identification of health problems and the management of common acute and chronic disorders across the lifespan.

The Pediatric (PNP) program prepares experienced pediatric nurses for advanced practice roles in the primary care of children from infancy through adolescence.

All NP program options may be completed as Post-Master’s Certificates.
