- Program Description:
- The Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM)is Ireland's leading music conservatoire, specializing in classical music. We have nurtured the talent of gifted instrumental and vocal performers since 1848. Our Bachelor in Music Performance, accredited by Trinity College, Dublin (TCD), is a four-year program. With an intake of just 16 students per year, this exclusive degree has produced international competition prizewinners and alumni who have gone on to significant international careers.

Performance opportunities with our national orchestras, solo recitals and concertos in prestigious national venues and international tours. Professional Practice Seminars which prepare musicians for a busy career in the 21st century and to stay healthy as a performer, mentally and physically.
The Bachelor program carries 240 ECTS credits, 60 credits per year over 4 years.

- The Royal Irish Academy of Music is situated in a Georgian building of outstanding beauty in the heart of Dublin, just minutes' walk from the National Gallery, National History Museum and the National Concert Hall. RIAM is an associate college of Trinity College, Dublin and is located just across the road from this university. Our students register with both the RIAM and TCD and this means all students have free membership to TCD's excellent GYM and access to its historic societies.
