Health Promotion is a social science that attempts to encourage healthy lifestyle and wellness and prevent illness by informing and educating individuals and communities about health-related topics such as proper nutrition and the importance of exercise. The Rowan University M.A. in HPM program expands upon the skills and knowledge necessary to develop and implement health promotion programs and, through coursework from our accredited Rohrer College of Business and College of Education, develops the strategic and managerial skills needed for higher level positions in health education. This is a fully online, part-time program offered in an accelerated format and requiring only 30 graduate credit hours for completion.
