Program Description:

The Master of Science in Historic Preservation program will equip you with a broad background in history, archival research, planning, architectural conservation, economics, law and heritage management. Working with community stakeholders, you will apply your coursework and utilize social science methods to identify and protect historic resources. The program emphasizes hands-on, authentic work with local municipalities, non-profits, and private sector preservation groups. A guaranteed paid internship option is available for all graduate students in Historic Preservation at RWU. Students select from a research thesis or capstone project to complete their studies.
