Requirements:
Students should possess a bachelor's degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.67 or higher to be considered for admission. An undergraduate degree in architecture is not required; however, an accredited pre-professional architecture degree or degree in a related field may lessen the required amount of time or number of credits to complete the M.Arch degree. Students should have a basic understanding of drawing or art with basic skills for design. Students must submit a portfolio showing 8-10 examples of art or design work, which may include drawings, computer generated images, artwork, and other materials that demonstrate skills in design. The portfolio can be provided in electronic or hard-copy format.
International Requirements:
International graduate applicants are required to submit an official evaluation of ALL foreign credentials, and the evaluation must include a course-by course evaluation, including all courses earned toward the undergraduate degree. All international applicants must provide proof of English proficiency by submitting scores from the IELTS or TOEFL exams or demonstrating completion of ELS level 112 coursework. International applicants who have earned a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the U.S. and have completed at least 90 credits of English-based undergraduate coursework during that degree or come from a country whose official language is English are exempt from this requirement.
