Providence Theological Seminary is an evangelical institution whose purpose is to serve the Church, in the accomplishment of its mission, by preparing and supporting leaders, developing resources, and facilitating theological reflection. The three-year Counseling Psychology degree program provides an opportunity for students to specialize in either a general track or one of three specialization's in Pastoral Psychology, Marriage and Family Studies, or Congregational Care. It also provides an opportunity for hands-on clinical training in a supervised field setting.
