- Students in Ohio Dominican University’s Master of Science in Medical Practice Management program develop skills and competencies necessary for managerial and executive-level positions in medical practices as well as other health services organizations and facilities. Additionally, students gain knowledge of health care law, regulations and economics, and demonstrate strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills that prepare them for successful and fulfilling careers. Special emphasis is placed on strategic planning to better prepare students for managerial survival in the dynamic business environment that now permeates the health care industry. Highlights of ODU's program include: -Faculty who hold Ph.D.s and/or other related advanced degrees and have diverse professional experiences in health services. -Strong synergies with ODU's Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies programs. -Evening courses to accommodate the working professional. -A strong and diverse network of health professionals and organizations in Central Ohio.
