Program Description:

The Master of Education in Educational Studies program is designed for students with a teaching certificate who desire a graduate program with a wide range of course offerings that provide both theoretical and practical applications to a variety of educational issues and mandates. As an Educational Studies student, you will be a critical consumer of educational research who can reflectively implement research-based best practices within your K-12 school. You will be a competent producer of action research around school-based issues who are informed and active participants in professional conversations beyond their immediate contexts.

We also offer a M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership.

Students who are conditionally admitted to the program because of a lower GPA or lack of recommendations must complete a minimum of 7 credit hours (EST 601 and one other core course) with a grade of at least 3.0 in each course.
International Requirements:
International applicants requiring an I-20 for a visa must also submit additional documents, including an International Student Supplemental Application, financial documents, transcript evaluations, and proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB).
