Program Description:

The English Language and Culture course focuses on the vocabulary and skills you need to make the most of a stay in the UK.

You will participate in interactive workshops and there will be plenty of fun opportunities for practice on campus as well as off campus exploring the city and its attractions.

During the course you will:

• develop your formal and informal speaking skills
• expand your knowledge of vocabulary and grammar
• transfer your new knowledge to real-world situations
• enhance your ability to communicate in teams
• work together on a group project
• learn more about the UK and its people and culture.

After studying this course, you should be able to write and speak in English effectively and with confidence.

You will be better prepared to communicate with tutors and fellow students on other courses.

It will also help you develop the skills necessary to be a more independent English language learner and visitor to the UK.
