Extracting oil from the depths encountered on the Norwegian continental shelf has providedtechnological research with new dimensions. A substantial part of today's advancedtechnology within this field has its roots in the scientific community in Trondheim. Thetwo MSc programmes in Petroleum Engineering and Petroleum Geosciences at NTNUwill introduce students to this modern technology.
