- Program Description:
- The Guidance & Counseling program trains graduate students in the developmental approach to school counseling and in one of its derivatives, the Missouri Comprehensive Guidance Program. Using a developmental approach, the program focuses on the three primary functions of the modern school counselor: consultation, coordination, and counseling. Thre are 12 additional hours of coursework for candidates who do not hold a teaching degree.
