Program Description:

This program explores the growing importance of international health and is open to anyone with an interest in this area. Students will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the health care system in Belize and health issues related to a tropical climate. Highlight: Healthcare services provided to St Margaret’s villagers. Open to both Undergraduate and Graduate students. All students interested in health and human sciences are encouraged to apply.

Explore the culture of Belize through host families,interaction with natural healing, connection with students from the University of Belize, and experience the Garifuna language.
