Program Description:

Niagara University offers a 37 credit hour master's degree, a 46 credit hour master's degree plus initial certification, and an 18 credit hour certificate program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). English is the language of global communications and demand for TESOL professionals is greater than ever before. Our graduates will be qualified to work in public and private schools (locally and internationally), international corporations, governments, NGOs, and in private practice in the U.S. and abroad. They will also be qualified to become ESL materials specialists, administrators and researchers. Graduates will be able to teach English to people of all ages and conditions of life, oversee and create innovative TESOL programs and develop effective teaching methods. Recent graduates, people changing careers, or certified teachers are all perfect candidates to enter into the TESOL program.
