Program Overview

Program Description:
The School Psychology program at Niagara University is founded on a commitment to developing school psychologists who individually and systemically foster human growth and development, and personal and emotional well-being within a culturally diverse context. Our program is aligned with and prepares degree candidates in accordance with the National Association of School Psychology (NASP) Professional Standards. In the 2013 U.S. News and World Report on top 100 jobs, School psychology was ranked #14 of the top 100 jobs and #1 in social services! Also, the U.S. Department of Labor projects a nearly 22 percent uptick in this occupation by 2020. Currently, we offer a diverse balance of small face-to-face courses offered weekdays, evening, online, and hybrid (mixed online and campus based) courses to allow our students an accommodating schedule. The field of school psychology and our program attract and are well suited for both traditional and non-traditional students.
