Program Description:

The New York Film Academy’s Broadcast Journalism School is training the next generation of journalists to be prepared to navigate the evolving landscape of the field in the 21st Century. Learn from top broadcast and investigative journalists who have created an intensive hands-on curriculum that will prepare individuals interested in pursuing a career in Broadcast Journalism.

Broadcast Journalism, Hands-On Camera & Lighting, Hands-On Audio, Production Workshop, Editing and much more. Students can look forward to acquiring the following skills, including: research, reporting, digital production, editing, anchoring, and show production.
 

Setting Description:

New York Film Academy's Broadcast Journalism School is located at the New York City campus, allowing students countless opportunities to film throughout the city, while also giving them access to the many news organizations based in NYC. Broadcast Journalism students will work in state-of-the-art facilities and use modern video cameras including digital HDTV cameras that enables them to shoot in a variety of formats and styles.
