Master of Arts in Teaching, Inital Licensure

The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) is a coed teacher education program with over 30 licensure areas for aspiring educators with both one- and two-year program options.

With specializations in critical need areas like English language learners and moderate disabilities, candidates in the program can pursue either one or two licenses in addition to getting a Masters degree.

Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics

Teaching The Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics degree (M.A.T.M.) offered by the Mathematics Leadership Programs of Mount Holyoke College is a coed, hybrid program designed for K-8 educators who wish to deepen their mathematical content and pedagogical knowledge, build leadership skills, and earn a masters degree. Course assignments have immediate application in school settings and support the work of teachers, coaches, and instructional specialists.

Master of Arts in Teaching, Teacher Leadership

The Master of Arts Teaching, Teacher Leadership (M.A.T.L.) program supports educators who want to help build their school’s capacity for success, support professional growth among their peers, or serve in a leadership role at the local, state, or national level. Designed for full-time educators, M.A.T.L. students can complete the program entirely online, with courses offered in the evenings during the academic year and as a week-long intensive during summer months.
