- Program Description:
- The MFA in Studio Art program annually accepts men and women with diverse backgrounds and practices in this non-medium specific curriculum. A required four-week international graduate residency in Burren, Ireland during the second summer term, as well as concept-based seminars and frequent interaction with nationally and internationally recognized faculty and visiting artists throughout the program, deepens the artist's studio practice, strengthens and re-defines their work in new and innovative ways and positions the artist and their work within a global arts environment. Accreditations: Moore College of Art & Design’s accreditation was reaffirmed for a ten year period by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in June 2012. This program has received plan approval from NASAD: National Association of Schools of Art & Design. The Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art received final approval from the State of Pennsylvania Department of Education in July 2012.
