Requirements:
1. Apply to and be admitted to the Graduate College at Missouri State University.
2. Submit three letters of recommendation.
3. Submit recent Graduate Record Examination scores on the general exam OR have a Missouri teaching certificate in social studies.
4. Completed 24 undergraduate hours in history or equivalent.
If you do not hold an undergraduate degree in history, you may make up any deficiency in history credits with additional courses in history. However, such courses may not be counted toward the 30-hour total requirement for the master’s degree. Admission will also depend on the quality of your previous academic record.
