Program Description:

Biomedical Sciences at Middlesex has a burgeoning reputation both at home and abroad. This is partly due to our world-class research in Biomarkers (molecular pathology), Radiology and Public Health, and Bio-modelling and Bioinformatics. Middlesex recently opened its state-of-the-art bioanalytical laboratories for teaching and research. With investment totalling £3 million the facilities match, and in some cases surpass, those offered at UK medical schools.

Our pathways in Haemotology and Transfusion Science and Medical Microbiology are accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS). This professional recognition significantly enhances your employment prospects on graduation. Additionally our Haematology course is run in conjunction with National Health Service Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) Service at Colindale.

We welcome applications from graduates with a good honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in an appropriate subject. We also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with a minimum of three years' work experience. Those without formal qualifications need to demonstrate relevant work experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level.
