Program Description:

By investigating the effect of different design solutions have on the user’s individual psychological and physical experiences you will be able to develop an artistic and passionate approach to design. The programme also gives special attention to what effect different design solutions have on the environment. The programme has a close collaboration with the industry, disability organizations and the public sector. The programme will give you a solid foundation to continue on to research in the field of industrial design.

To quickly be able to understand and create solutions for the consumers ever changing needs have become a sought-after skill and through this programme you will have the opportunity to develop your abilities in this area. The programme puts emphasis on different methods to include the user in the design process. You will be able to increase your knowledge of the needs of elderly and people with different types of disabilities. The aim is to find a way to consider individual needs when it comes to social, psychological and physical abilities by using methods of design inspired by human diversity.
