Program Description:

MACU offers a Masters program in the area of leadership that equips you with the practical skills to take your career to a new level. This program includes courses in organization behavior, financial development and management, adult learning, leadership theory, and critical thinking. The MLPA prepares graduates for professional positions in government service or non-profit management. Such positions include management positions with city, state, and federal agencies, county government, the legislature, elected office, and teaching at the college level. Each student is mentored by a proven leader in public administration who guides and advises the student until graduation. - This program is a member of the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA). - Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society is available to MLPA students who qualify. - Paid internships are available for students who qualify.
