Mercer University's Master of Science degree in Public Safety Leadership equips candidates with the knowledge and skills to succeed at the highest level, including: -Anti-terrorism task force directors -Disaster relief and emergency response directors -Homeland security directors -Federal agents -Chief deputy sheriffs, police chiefs -Probation, parole, correctional administrators and commissioners, and assistant chiefs -Fire chiefs -Managers of private security firms Through the Public Safety Leadership program, you will develop professional knowledge and skills in the following areas: -Leadership -Global Perspectives of Public Safety -Ethical Decision Making -Organizational Theory and Behavior -Conflict Resolution and Negotiation -Organizational Communication -Research, Analysis, and Problem Solving

Requirements:

-$25.00 application fee. -Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. -Minimum overall undergraduate quality point average of 2.75 on all work attempted. -Submit GRE or Miller Analogies Test -Submit a written autobiography including career goals. -Submit official transcripts of all college work attempted. -Obtain a certificate of immunization. -Provide a letter of recommendation -Attend an interview by the departmental admissions committee as the final step for admission. Students are considered and admitted to the Public Safety Leadership program prior to the beginning of each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer) per year after applications and all supporting materials are received.
