Program Description:

The Department of Occupational Health offers a multidisciplinary approach to problems of occupational health and safety. Our objectives are: (a.) to train occupational health and safety professionals in the evaluation of the work environment and work hazards, and in the application of appropriate methods of prevention and control; and (b.) to train independent researchers in the field of work environment and health. The department offers two graduate degree programs in occupational health sciences: a Ph.D., and an M.Sc.A., which is offered in two formats, namely an intensive one year program, and a distance education program which is aimed specifically at doctors and nurses working in the field of occupational health and safety.
