Program Description:

The School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes in the broad fields of basic and applied human nutrition. Areas of interest include: basic research in energy; carbohydrate and lipid metabolism; clinical nutrition undertaken in the research facilities of the Crabtree Laboratories at the Royal Victoria Hospital as well as other hospitals; and community nutrition in Canada and abroad. The Centre for Nutrition and the Environment of Indigenous Peoples within the School provides an opportunity to study nutritional issues affecting indigenous populations.
