Program Description:

The Department of Animal Science offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. , as well as M.Sc.A. programmes. Excellent opportunities exist for research in animal breeding (genetics), molecular and reproductive biology, lactation physiology, milk biochemistry, and nutrition of domestic animals. With greater emphasis on course work than the traditional research-oriented M.Sc., the M.Sc. Applied may appeal to individuals already in the work force, undergraduate students inspired by the "sustainable" and integrated animal agriculture, and international students interested in animal resource management.
