The 30-credit Master’s program prepares you to create effective learning environments for three types of students in grades 1 to 6 – mentally handicapped, emotionally disturbed and learning disabled. Areas of study include classroom management and the diagnosis and correction of learning disabilities. Inclusion techniques, use of technology, understanding the neurologically impaired child and the psychology and education of autistic children are all part of the elective offerings.
