This programme is based in the Operational Research Group within the Department of Management and offers the following benefits: A course of study which covers the developing set of procedures and methods for applying analysis to strategic problems and issues in organisations. Teaching which takes students up to the frontiers of research in decision sciences. Preparation for employment in management consultancies, major companies and organisations in the public and voluntary sectors. An opportunity to learn about theory in action by engaging in an organisation based project. This MSc is designed to be relevant for intending practitioners of decision science. It stresses theory in action and provides a solid foundation in the theory and practice of decision-making in organisations.
